Yamaha Drums is part of the large Yamaha Corporation and there drum division started in 1967. There drums are built in Japan which produces the high end drums and Indonesia which produces the hardware and budget end drums.. In 1987 for a short period Yamaha bought Premier Drums and it's factory in England, but later sold it's share back to Premier. There quality hardware is manufactured in the Yamaha motorcycle factory.
